- Esther M. Gockel, widow of the late Rev. Julius H. Gockel, age 74, 310 Central Park Av., had lived in Wilmette for 38 years. She is survived by four daughters, Ruth Gockel, 529 Hinman Ave., Evanston; Mrs. Herman Sollman, Forest Hills, N.Y.; Mrs. Warren Rapp, Arlington Heights; and Mrs. James Reinhold, Chicago; and two sons, Robert, Ann Arbor, Mich.: and George, St. Louis, Mo. Other survivors include a sister, MMrs. Clare Riney; two brothers, Lawrence and Harold Mangelsdorf; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
