- Dr. Howard M. GoodSmith, past president of the Joseph Sears School Board, Kenilworth, died Apr. 14 in the Eden View Convalescent and Geriatric Center, Northbrook. He was 80. Survivors include his widow, Evelyn; two sons, H. Edward, Glencoe, and Willoughby, Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Harriette) Emmet, Jackson, Mich., and Mrs. Wayne (Carol) Banasik, Des Plaines; and 11 grandchildren.
