- Edward Shanahan, 2023 Schiller Av., Wilmette, died Apr. 17 in St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. He was 68. He is survived by his widow, Margaret; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Boyle, Northbrook, and Mrs. Mary Pat Chojnacki (illegible), two sons, Edward J. Shanahan, Peoria, and James, Skokie; and nine grandchildren. Other survivors are two brothers, Thomas and Robert, Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Pikrone, Glenview. Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Wilmette.
