- Miss Anna Werner, 33, a maid employed in the home of Mrs. C. E. Martin, 2014 Sheridan road, intended to leave Thursday for her old home in Sweden. A search of her trunk by police discovered articles belonging to other employers including F. J. Casey of 347 Central Avenue, Wilmette. Her brother, Charles Bauman of Rogers Park was notified. No one was willing to prosecute the woman, and police agreed it was best for her to go back to her home country.
