- Word of death in Xalapa, Mexico on Aug. 7 of Russell Gessel, formerly of Winnetka, has been received from the widow, Margaret (Peggy). Burial was in Xalapa. Survivors in addition to the widow, who will make her home in Puerto Veracruz, Mexico include three sons, John of Le Mesa, Cal,; Michael of Iowa, and Robert of Cleveland; a daughter, Mrs. Dan McCormick of New York State; and several grandchildren.
