- Francis E. Phelan, 74, of 1117 Merrill St., died June 21 in St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. Survivors include his widow, Julia G.; two brothers, Harry of Mt. Prospect and James of Lincoln, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Maxey of Lincoln.
