What People Are Doing In Lake Forest

Dr. and Mrs. G. G. French are in Sarasota, Fla., for a month. Mrs. B. N. Parmenter is visiting her parents in Kalamazoo, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Tifney Blake are spending a few weeks in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Darrow visited with Mr. and Mrs. Martin Melody the first part of the week. Dr. and Mrs. Sturdevant have left for a month of winter sport on their farm in New Hampshire. Miss Katherine Halsey has left for Hazelton, Pa., where she will organize a branch of the Y.W.C.A. Mr. Robert J. Thorne has purchased the Granger Farwell place on Sheridan road. He recently bought the place adjoining this, which give him a fine estate of twelve acres.
