- In one of the closest team races in the history of the IHSA state boys swimming and diving finals, New Trier settled for third place behind Naperville Central (156 points) and Neuqua Valley (153). Coach Mark Onstott's Trevians, who were seeking their fifth state crown in the past seven years, finished with 151.
Swimmers mentioned include Andrew Chiu, Linc Rhodes, Sam Metz, C.J. Smith, Konrad von Moltke, Matt Gagne and Max Grodecki, Nels Snyder and Nick Killen.
