- Citizens of that portion of New Trier Township formerly known as the Village of Gross Point, will be requested on January 15, to vote upon the question of reorganizing that territory into a municipality known as "The Village of Gross Point." Morton T. Culver filed a petition requesting the special election. Petitions are also circulating requesting annexation of the territory to the Village of Wilmette. The dissolution of Gross Point was effected a few montohs ago when money realized from the sale at auction of the Village Hall was found sufficient to liquidate the debts of the village.
