- The Avoca Parents and Teachers Council will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at Marie Murphy School's Community Room. Diane Becker, consultant for the Avenue For Change, and Cindy Devin, District 37's director of pupil services, will speak on the topic entitled "Bringing 21st Century Learning to District 37."
The students at Avoca West Elementary School were recently treated to a visit from local author Ruth Spiro. Her book is titled Lester Fizz - Bubblegum Artist. Full article available at Wilmette Public Library. - Date of Publication
