- Harold D. Nelson, who operated Nelson Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Evanston and Wilmette for many years, died Aug. 19 in Brentwood North Nursing Center, Riverwoods. He was 80. He was born in Evanston. Mr. Nelson is survived by Virginia, his wife of 54 years; a daughter, Patricia Bell of Libertyville; two sons, Robert, of Columbus. Ohio, and Harold Jr. of La Habra, Cal.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Another son, Jack, died in 1963.
