Notes
The Village Board has been considering the proposal by developer Mitchell Miller to build a CVS drugstore on the vacant lot on the 600 block of Green Bay Road. The project requires a special use permit for a drive-up window. The Wilmette Zoning Board recommended November 18, that the village grant the special use. But the village is also considering a moratorium on construction and subdivisions in the Village Center pending completion of the Lakota Group of Chicago study and planning recommendations. President Christopher Canning feels the status quo should be maintained until the planning study is complete. Full digital issue available at Wilmette Public Library
