Wilmette artists whose paintings are on display in the art gallery of the new Wilmette Public LIbrary which was formally opened last Sunday, include the follwing:
John J. Ballenger, Eugenia Reid-Balmes, Clyde Brown, Helger Carlson, Lance Carlson, Jean M. Coburn, Alice B. Crane, Betty Eakin, Harry J. Ekman, Mary Martin Engel and Laurie Engel;
Mae Finley, Myrtle Frankovitz, Herbert T. Herrick, E. Fred Lechler, Clarke F. Mair, Lice B. McKinley, Dorothy Decker Miller;
ALice Mosby, William H. Mosby, Jean Moulding, Kim B. muir, George Moyer, Raymond Najarian, Lynette Oberg, Pearl Ranstead, Mary Schaub;
Margaret Selleck, Marguerite Taylor, Barbara Weber, E. Todd Wheeler, Edith Willet, Marian Witt.
Ceramics on display are the works of Mesdames H. G. Bergdoll, Sterling Douglas, Paul Hoppe, J.C. Leaton, Paul E. Madden, William H. Mosby, W. B. Wiemers, and F. H. Young.
Mrs. Frank J. Balmes is in charge of the paintings exhibit which will hang for two weeks. Mrs. H. G. Bergdoll is in charge of the ceramic display.
