Mrs. Carl Hall, 812 Greenwood avenue, has been appointed a director of the Wilmette Public Library to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mrs. Christian W. Schafer, it was announced this week by Mrs. F. A. Cushing Smith, president of the library board. The apointment made by the directors, runs until the next regular election in April, 1949. Mrs. Hall's mother, Mrs. J. A. Burrill, served on the library board, from 1923 to 1926.
