- New Trier's Varsity 8 boys crew finished second and the girls Varsity 8 team took an eighth-place finish last month at the 45th annual Head of the Charles Regatta held in Boston. Comments by coach Nate Kelp-Lenane. Rowers mentioned include Patrick O'Hara, James Nelson, Connor Smith, Jason Kopelman, Connor Jones, Taggart Denton, Tommy Morrison, Ale Dern, JohnNoyes and Will Rosenbloom and Will Roberts. On the girls' team were Sarah Specht, Melanie Eckert, Hilary Going, K atie Wilcox, Lauren Lashmet, Emmi Benton, madie Hilbrant, Alex Swift and Hanna Wilson. Also Kat Brewer and Joanie Weaver. Girls' coach is Rose Marchuk.
