- Officials at New Trier are considering plans to install artificial turf at the West campus football/soccer field after a wet fall. Head coach Craig Fairbairn and senior forward Ben Beaver support the idea. New Trier won the Class 3A New Trier Regional championship by defeating Maine East 7-0 on Saturday. The game was played on the artificial surface at Evanston because of muddy playing conditions at New Trier. Players mentioned include Ben Hareza, Matt Hickey, Court Bowers, Gavin Craig.
