- Helen Siniff of St. Petersburg, Fla., died December 5 at the age of 83. She was a long-time resident of Wilmette before her move to Florida. She was born in Argos, Indiana, March 27, 1907, and served as director of the Wilmette Public Library for 27 years, from 1945 through 1972.
