- New Trier won over Waukegan 7-3 on Oct. 1. Comments by coach Craig Fairbairn. The game was unusual as lightning ended the game at halftime. Also New Trier scored twice in the first two minutes then, after 30 minutes, scored five goals in less than five minutes. Players mentioned include Ben Beaver, Gavin Craig, Nick Glattard, Matt Hickey.
