- On Sept. 13 New Trier High School's Northfield campus will be the host to a walk/run honoring three former students who perished in a 2003 porch collapse in Chicago: Sam Farmer, Shea Fitzgerald and Julie Sorkin. Proceeds will go to scholarship funds and charities.
