- The Festival of Fine Arts sponsored by the Wilmette Arts Guild will take place Sept. 12 and 13 at the Metra parking lot at Green Bay Road and Lake Avenue. Comments by Julie Ressler, president of the guild. Established artists Lucie Phillips of Kenilworth, Gordon France of La Grange and Mae Connor will display work at the fair. Also displaying work is Franco Muscarella. Katie Berman of Wilmette is a photographer. Gillian Muller of Evanston will sell hats.
