- Mrs. Helen F. Rumely, 71, of La Porte, Ind., former North Shore resident, died Aug. 30 in the E Street Hospital in La Porte. Born in La Porte. Survivors include her husband, Eugene; a son, Thomas K. Rees, 625 Maple av., Wilmette; a daughter, Mrs. Neil Gilliatt of Greenwich, Conn.; a brother, Carl H. Kreidler of La Porte; and six grandsons.
