- Mallinckrodt Concerts in the Park at 2 p.m. Sundays under the Centennial Gazebo in Mallinckrodt Park, located behind the Mallinckrodt building, 1041 Ridge Road, Wilmette. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held in the Community Recreation Center auditorium. June 28: Breeze (jazz). July 12: Illinois Brass Band. July 26: Afternoon with a President. "Follies" will be presented by Actors Theatre Company at 8 p.m. June 12-13, 19-20, 26-27; and 2 p.m. June 14 and 21 at The Kathleen Mullady Memorial Theatre, 1125 W. Loyola Ave., Chicago. The cast includes Mary Alexander of Wilmette, Highland Park residents Dennis Barden and Barbara Rosin, and Marcia Kazurinksy of Evanston.

Wilmette Historical Museum, 609 Ridge Road. June 14-Aug. 9: "Asian Games: The Art of Contest" explores the role of games in Asian culture and their transmission across cultures from prehistoric times to the present. The exhibit includes an area where some of the games on view can be played. June 20, noon-3 p.m.: Asian Games Day, featuring food from China, Japan and India, and interactive games to play throughout the afternoon. June 23, 7:30-8:30 p.m.: "Go" Game Night, presented by the Evanston Go Club. July 14, 7-8 p.m.: Chess Game Night. Shiva Maharaj from Chess-Ed will share the history of this game's Asian heritage while facilitating games for beginners and pairing together those who already know how to play the game.
