- North Shore-based United We Learn met May 21 at New Trier High School's Northfield campus. The organization hopes to push for parity of funding between rich and poor school districts. The group dates from the visit to New Trier in September of state Sen. James Meeks, I-15th, and Chicago school children to protest the inequity of school facilities.
