- Two former village trustees are protesting campaign literature used in the April 7th election were unfair because it's unclear who produced them. "Wilmette Residents for Good Government," the provider of leaflets, is not a registered group with the state Board of Elections, nor has any representative of the group been identified. Comments by former Village Trustees Jim Griffith and Joanne Aggens, and resident Erich Gibbs. Election laws were not violated assuming the materials cost less than $3,000.
