Description
- Full Text
Mrs. Fannie R. Wheelock, one of the few surviving charter members of the Wilmette Woman's Club, passed away May the eleventh. This is indeed a grief to her family and many friends. Mrs. Wheelock was born in Massachusetts in 1853 of an old New England family. In 1883--a few years before her marriage to Mr. Wheelock, they came to Wilmette, so she had lived here for forty-five years. In her long and useful life Mrs. Wheelock always seemed such a tower of Strength, one who could be relied on, and her place will be hard to fill. By Ada Watkins Joy
