- The Music Institute of Chicago's 2009 Gala preparations began with a party Nov. 19 at the Arts Club of Chicago. The Gala committee includes Kay Mabie of Northfield, Kathy Bette and Paula Danoff of Winnetka and Ruthann and Neil Quinn also of Winnetka.
