- Ella P. McCabe of 1700 Central Av., Wilmette, died Nov. 1 at the Eden View Nursing Home in Northbrook. Mrs. McCabe, 87, was born in Chicago. She is survived by her husband, Frank J.; a daughter, Gertrude Moore of Wilmette; a son, Frank J. Jr. of Chicago; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Walter C. Strauss of Wilmette, Paul Strauss of California and William Strauss of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and a sister, Gertrude Pollard of Glendale, Calif.
