- The Foundation Fighting Blindness hosted 280 people at its Visions Ball held Oct. 25 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Chicago. The event raised $425,000 for the foundation with funds research worldwide for the treatment and cures of blinding retinal degenerative diseases.
