Notes
Many improvements in landscape gardening, placing of sidewalks, etc., are bing made at the West Side park by a group of workmen. The new park has been cleared of all dead leaves and brush, and in a few weeks, weill be the beauty spot of the west side.
Many flower beds hae been made and much shurbbery has been placed during the last two weeks. A small summer house, built near the center of the park, has also been added. It is planned to make the west side park one of the most attractive outdoor recreation places in Wilmette. Benches will probably be placed soon, as will be also swings and other equipment for the public.
With the public library and new Logan school located on the west side, residents of that section are to be congratulated upon the growth and progess of that portion of the village.
