- The Winter Recital and Vibrant Art of Persons with Disabilities Art Exhibition opens Sunday at the Wilmette Recreation Center, 3000 Glenview road. A musical recital begins at 3 p.m. The event was organized by the Wilmette Fine Arts Commission and the Comission for Persons with Disabilities. Comments by Sally Schiller, chair of the latter commission. Her son, Mason, is a student at New Trier. The exhibit will feature 49 works by 29 artists, most of them New Trier Township residents. Among them is Brain Reed, 36, who has cerebral palsey. Comments by his father, Walter Reed.
