Dr. George F. Sutherland, who is a child specialist associated with Dr. Grulee, will hold a child welfare clinic regularly every other Wednesday afterrnoon, beginning December 6th, from 2:30 to 4:30, at the Gross Point Health Center. Miss Queen, who assists Dr. Sutherland, can be reached every day at the Health Center, between 12 and 1 o'clock, by phoning Wilmette 2402.

The little Shetland pony, owned by C. A. Thorsen of Kenilworth, was among those present in Northwestern's Home-Coming parade. In fact, he played "the leading role" for Alpha Phi by assisting with their float.

The North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad has placed a Special to take care of North Shore opera goers. This train leaves Glencoe at 6:53, Hubbard Woods at 6:58, Kenilworth at 7:00, WIlmette Avenue at 7:02, and LInden Avenue at 7:07. There will also be a Special to bring them home leaving the Congress and Wabash station 15 minutes after the close of the opera.

We take pleasure in introducing Mr. J. B. Koppel, new manager of the Village Theatre of Wilmette. Mr. Koppel has a pleasing personality and will make friends, but what is more important he knows the picture business and will give us "good stuff" at the Village Theatre. Mr. Sparr, who has been acting manager for a few weeks since Mr. Salter left for his new field in New York, will now devote his full time to his "Beach Manor" project and land interests in Florida.

Even the owls are interested in the Wilmette Bird House. For several nights one of these night prowlers has been attempting to smash his way through the front window. Who says a good window display doesn't attract attention?

A benefit dance will be given by A. T. Sherman Lodge No. 893, I.O.O.F., at the I.O.O.F. Dance Hall, 1213 Wilmette Avenue, Friday evening, December 1st. Tickets are 50 cents.

"Say, Joe, let's go down and bowl a game on Fred's new alleys!" "All right, it's a go." This conversation was heard the other evening as two young men were about to pass the entrance to Fred Dettman's new bowling alleys in the Brown Building. And believe me, folks, ther are "some alleys." Brand new and well constructed. Just the place for a good game while waiting for the second show at the theatre one one of those crowded nights. Every afternoon will be set aside for the ladies. So, don't forget afternoons for the ladies and until midnight every night for the men.
