- Plans for the $2,000,000 Bahai Temple which will be built in the near future on the tract of land at Greenleaf avenue and Sheridan road, Wilmette, were discussed in the sixth annual convention of the sect held in Chicago recently. The land was purchased about eight years ago at a cost of $50,000 and located near the drainage canal. Historical background of the Bahai faith which originated in Persia. Followers were subjected to political persecution.
