- Services were held Wednesday at Piser Memorial Chapel in Chicago for William B. Berger, 343 Oak Circle, Wilmette. Interment was in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago. Mr. Berger, who was 82, died Oct. 5 at Evanston Hospital. He was a partner in the law firm of Berger, Newmark and Fenchel with offices at 10 S. LaSalle St., Chicago. A graduate of the Chicago Kent College of Law, he was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1913. For more than 50 years, he was a member of the American, Illinois and Chicago Bar Associations. He was a member of the North Shore Congregation Israel. Survivors include his wife, Frances, and a daughter, Alice, of the home and a sister, Sadie Tanner, Los Angeles.
