- New Trier's sailing team scored a victory at the 2008 Midwest Interscholastic Sailng Association Great Lakes High School Championships Nov. 15-16 for a No. 1 ranking in the Midwest. Team members mentioned include Drew Shea, Stephanie Hudson, Cole Rice, Kim Johnson, Charlie Hall, Kelly Foreman, Mike Cornew. Coaches are Matt Clark and Frank Ustach.
Representing Loyola Acadamy for second place were Tommy Holmberg, Juliann Sargis, Alex Post, Cirra McHugh and Kevin Kennedy. Tommy Holmberg led Loyola Academy to a victory at the Halloween Regatta hosted by the Lake Forest Sailing Club. - Date of Publication
