- $150 is cleared at May Day card party at Kenilworth for Wellesley College. The patronesses of the event were Mrs. Louis Allen, Mrs. O. M. Ruth, Mrs. Charles Horswell, Mrs. Merritt Starr, Mrs. George Shipman, Mrs. H. A. Kasten, Mrs. Louis Curtis, Mrs. Fred Bulley, Mrs. Charles Chandler, Mr. Nutting, Mrs. Edgar Borshard [unclear] and Misses [unclear], Isom and Kasten. Five Kenilworth girls are presently students at Wellesley. Wellesley's main building was destroyed by fire several weeks ago. A May Day card party was held to raise money. Among the prize winners were the following: Mrs. Silver of Toronto the guest of Mrs. V. C. Sanborn, Mr. Irving Woodward, Mr. and Mrs. Bentley McCloud, Mrs. Cope, Mr. H. A. Kasten and Mrs. V. C. Sanborn.
