- Mabel "Vicki" Jones, a former resident of Evanston and Chicago, died Sept. 4 at her home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was 85. Mrs. Jones was born Jun. 10, 1901, in Pittsburgh and came to Evanston in the 1930s. Survivors include eight grandchildren, Robert Rohm, David Jones and Kristine Jones, all of Chicago; Andrew Rohm, Terry Rohm and Carol Rohm, all of Detroit; Susan Rosen of San Francisco and Karen Rayburn of Tel Aviv, Israel.
