- Howard Butler, 67, died Aug. 29 in Evanston Hospital. Butler, of 2148 Chestnut Av., Wilmette, was born in Evanston. He is survived by his wife, Edythe, daughters Judith of Chicago and Mrs. Arthur Karchmer of Maitland, Fla., and two grandchildren. Rev. James Kidd conducted funeral services in Wilmette Congregational Church.
