- Jean Stirling Gregory died Aug. 1 in Evanston hospital. She was 83. She was the widow of Steven S. Gregory. Mrs. Gregory is survived by three married daughters, Janet G. Kahler of Los Angeles, Cal., Ann Merrill of Libertyville, and Dorothy Kahler of Manistique, Mich. and seven grandchildren.
