- Sara W. Smalley, 88, of 1409 Estate Ln. in Glenview died July 16 at the Golf Mill Nursing Home in Glenview. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Mrs. Smalley is survived by two daughters, Gertrude Brackett of Glenview and Helen Varde of Palatine; a sister, Mrs. Elmer F. Smith of Clearwater, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
