- Antonio Melchiorre of 1704 Lake Av. in Wilmette died July 8 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Mr. Melchiorre, 89, was born in Italy. Mr. Melchiorre is survived by his wife, Maria; a son, Emil of Northfield; a daughter, Albina Gambacorta of Wilmette; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a brother, Michael of Wilmette. A funeral Mass was said July 10 by the Rt. Rev. Charles Meter at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wilmette.
