- The U.S. House of Representatives rejected last week the "Hobson Resolution," which proposed a constitutional amendment prohibiting the sale of intoxicating liquors in the United States. Charles M. Thomson of the Tenth Illinois District, says vote was fairly representative of the sentiment of the House.
