The pupils of the Carpenter School of Wilmette gave a Christmas party last Friday morning at he Winnetka Woman's Club. The assembly room was tastefully decorated and was lighted by scores of candles. A big fire glowed hospitably in the fireplace beside which stood the Xmas tree. The program, which was splendidly carried out, was as follows: Opening song with Miss Pratt, Silent Night, Merry Xmas, Xmas Time, Mr. Squirrell with Joyce Whitman, Humpty Dumpty with Hoyt Steele, Ting Ting with Lolla Withers, I was in a Stable, and Xmas Dance.
Mother Goose Tableau with Lloyd Lourie, John F. Spiegel and B. Barrett, Jane Roberts, William Sims and Billy Heimsheimer, J ane Kuuppenheimer, Dorothy [illegible], Anne Mitchell, Elizabeth Durham, Marion Eckhart, Mary Macklin, Robert Angell, Betty Kaode, Carol Whitman
The party was such a decided success that Miss Pratt, who was in charge of the entertainment, has been requested to have the children repeat it at the Wilmette Woman's Club for the benefit of the Red Cross society, but as yet nothing definite has been decided upon.
