- Elbertha Smith of 1313 Ridge Rd. in Wilmette died June 17 at the Normandy House in Wilmette. Mrs. Smith, 92, was a 27-year resident of the village and was born in Chippewa Falls, Wis. Her husband, Wilfred M., died in 1972. Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Edwina Johnson of Wilmette and June Magine of Rolling Meadows; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Clida Schippert of Richland Center, Wis.
