- Gertrude M. Addenbrooke, 100, formerly of Winnetka and Wilmette, died June 20 in Palo Alto, Cal. She was the widow of Henry E. Addenbrooke. Mrs. Addenbrooke was born Jan. 6, 1874 in Inverary, Scotland. Mrs. Addenbrooke is survived by a son, Dr. Edward F. Addenbrooke of Winnetka; and two daughters, Gwendolyn Addenbrooke of Palo Alto, Constance (Mrs. Horace) Hinds of Menlo Park, Cal. She was the last survivor of 12 brothers and sisters. She had two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
