- The Rev. Samuel Harkness, pastor at Winnetka Congregational Church from 1931-1956, died at his Tuscon, Ariz. home June 6. He was 90. He is survived by four sons, Samuel Jr. of Barrington Hills, Robert of Phoenix Ariz., Richard of Washington, D.C. and John of Houston, Tex. Also nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren survive.
