- John Elliott Starrett of 1630 Sheridan Rd. in Wilmette died June 4 in Evanston Hospital. Mr. Starrett, 67, was a former president of the Village of Kenilworth. Born in Kenilworth, Mr. Starrett served on the village board of trustees from 1955-64 and was board president 1960-64. Mr. Starrett is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; a daughter, Lynn Sarah; and a son, John Elliott, Jr. A memorial service was held June 8 at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth by the Rev. Wayne L. Johnson. Burial was in Oak Mound Cemetery near Sandwich, Ill.
