Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Baker, 347 Hill street, spent Thanksgiving in Libertyville, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Milton E. Cornell, 1036 Ashland avenue, are visiting in Evansville, Indiana.

Mr. William MacLean and son, Lachlan, 825 Lake avenue, are visiting at Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Burrows, 1525 Lake avenue, are spending the weekend in Barrington, Illinois.

Mrs. Chester HOgie and son, 407 Central avenue, returned Friday from a two weeks' visit in Detroit, Michigan.

Mrs. O. A. Hinsdale of Elgin, Illinois, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. C. J. Carlsen of 501 Washington avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Powers of Chicago spent Thanksgiving with Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Porter, 1326 Forest avenue.

Miss Maudifrank Bonds of Palestine, Texas, is making an extended visit with Mrs. Paul Sims Colley, 827 Ashland avenue.

Village President John D. Couffer, 903 Lake avenue, has returned from an extended business trip to Cleveland, Ohio

Dr. John Rindlaub of Fargo, North Dakota, is spending Thanksgiving at the Frederick White home, 1021 Central avenue.

Mrs. James G. Barber returned Wednesday evening to spend the remainder of the week at her home, 621 Linden avenue.

Miss Marjory Noyes returned from Milwaukee Downer academy to spend Thanksgiving at her home, 827 Oakwood avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald McIntosh of Hinsdale, Illinois, spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Herbert c. Arms, 33 Crescent place.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Lord and two children, 515 Central avenue, spent Thanksgiving with friends on the south side.

Mrs. Kathryn Stores and daughter, Retta of Chicago, are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Tichenor, 201 Sixth street.

Mr. William Freeman, 711 Lake avenue, will return the latter part of this week from a short trip to his ranch in Briggsville, Colorado.

Mrs. Frank Flanner of Blackwell, Wisconsin, is the guest at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Fatch, 611 Washington Ave.

Miss Florence Ayers, 430 Ninth street, returned home last Saturday from a three weeks' visit with relatives in Normal, Illinois.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harfst, 1503 Lake avenue, are spending the weekend in Belvidere, Illinois, as guests of Mrs. Harfst's parents

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Horton and two children, 840 Elmwood avenue, spent Thanksgiving with Mr. Horton's mother in Lake Bluff

Mrs. E. J. Jennings of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has arrived at the home of Mrs. Frederick G. White, 1021 Central avenue, for an extended visit.

Dr. Jessie G. Forrester of Ocean Park, California, formerly of Chicago, will be the guest of her daughter, Mrs. F. F. Cain, 907 Central avenue.

Mrs. John Bilsland of Covington, Indiana, was the guest over Thanksgiving of her son, Mr. B. Franklin Bilsland and family, 1228 Elmwood avenue.

Mrs. Albert Webster and two children, 502 Washington avenue, are spending several weeks at the home of Mr. Webster's parents in Galesburg, Illinois.

Miss Clara Sillibridge, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Fernald, 811 Forest avenue, will return to her home in Los Angeles, California, Sunday.

Mrs. W. B. Davies and daughter, Miss Hester Davies, 530 Forest avenue, returned Sunday evening from a two weeks' visit with Marshall Davies at Dartmouth college.

Dr. and Mrs. Daniel B. Macauley, Miss Margaret Macauley and Madame Macauley, of Sheridan road, have gone south for the winter. They will make their home in Tampa, Florida.

Jack Searle, son of Dr. and Ms. Howard C. Searle, 527 Washington avenue, was operated upon for appendicitis Sunday evening. His condition is reported to be improving.

Mrs. David Ayers, 430 Ninth street, has had as her guest, her sister, Mrs. William Northrup of Pasadena, California. During the visit, Mrs. Ayers and Mrs. Northrup visited in their home town, Normal, Illinois.

Dr. and Mrs. I. J. Waterman returned Sunday evening to heir home in Reinwick, Iowa, after spending a week as the guests of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Whitley, 727 Elmwood avenue.

Announcement of the birth of a daughter, on Sunday, November 15, to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Haeger of Chicago, has been received. Mrs. Haeger was formerly Miss Hazel Stonehouse of Wilmette.

Mr. E. G. Bentley, 804 Elmwood avenue, has gone west on an extended business trip. He wil lvisit the principal cities of hte northwest including Vancouver, returning by way of Los Angeles, San ANtonio and Houston, Texas
