- Alex P. Hoffmann, a member of a pioneer Wilmette family, died Dec. 24 [1973] in Skokie Valley Community Hospital. He was president of Hubert Hoffmann and Son Florists, 204 Ridge Rd., Wilmette. Mr. Hoffmann, 64, is survived by his wife, Marguerite; a sister, Margaret Higgins; a brother, James; and several nieces and nephews.
