- Gale M. Brooks, 85, died Nov. 10 in a Glenview Nursing Home. Mr. Brooks is survived by a son, Philip of Terrytown, N.Y.; a daughter, Virginia Speer of Ann Arbor, Mich; seven grandchildren; a brother, Charles, of Ruston, La.; and a sister, Helen Rottler of Seattle, Wash.
