- The first annual New Trier township holiday was celebrated last Thursday at Ravinia Park. A basket picnic had been arranged by the New Trier Township Commercial Association and many local business men with their families spent the day at the park. All places of business in Wilmette, Winnetka, Gross Point and Kenilworth were closed for the day. Description of events. People mentioned include Fred Stewart, George Neithaver, Ralph Bellamy of 1050 Linden avenue, Mrs. Edwin L. Lobdell of Highland Park, Mrs. Julius Rosenwalt, Mrs. Sosmann of Lake Bluff, Mrs. S. Cain of Ravinia, Mrs. Bullen of Glencoe, Miss Josephine Landon of Winnetka, and Mrs. Charles Wanner of Wilmette. Description of the Kenilworth part of the program. Names mentioned include Mrs. W. W.
